October 29th 2016 “Our community suffered the loss of our loved one Yore
Jieng to gun violence. Yore was a gifted, talented young soul who had a great passion for
basketball that was unfortunately short lived. Here at score for Yore we continue to keep that
passion going, bringing together teams from different areas, of all ages and races to compete
in these annual tournaments. Score for yore is in its name and together we keep Yore legacy
alive through the love of basketball.
